Ahan Wickramasinghe played a key role by scoring an unbeaten half-century as Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by seven wickets on Friday, advancing to the final.
In the clash between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, Wickramasinghe’s solid performance,
with 52 runs off just 46 deliveries, was instrumental,
while Lahuru Udara contributed with a brisk 43 from only 20 balls,
leading Sri Lanka’s successful chase. They aimed for a target of 136. Earlier,
Pakistan struggled but managed to reach 135/9, thanks to Omair Yousuf’s impressive 68 runs off 46 balls after a significant batting collapse.
Dushan Hemantha shined with the ball for Sri Lanka, achieving remarkable figures of 4/21.
